Rekam Nusantara Foundation is built through a concept, idea, collaboration and dedication. Currently, we focus on conducting studies, conservation actions and social communication that emphasize the values we believe in for change through science, education, stories and strong content.

Rangkong Indonesia

Rangkong Indonesia is one of the research units of Rekam Nusantara Foundation. We started from a concern that all of the 13 hornbill species in Indonesia should remain in the forest to safeguard the remaining 98 million ha of tropical rainforests.

It focuses on conserving the beautiful bird species and maintaining their habitats, as well as providing support to those who benefit much from their presence.

Fisheries Resource Centre of Indonesia

Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia (FRCI) is an initiative formed as a result of discussions between academic fisheries experts and non-governmental organisations. With mission to promote “Sustainability and Justice for Fisheries in Indonesia”, FRCI is anticipated to make a substantial contribution towards crucial national issues on fisheries and offer alternative breakthroughs in facing future challenges.
