The Urban and Sustainability Program is a directorate that was established to assist the community and local governments in finding solutions to various environmental problems that exist in urban areas. Currently it has just started in the City of Bogor by collaborating with the Bogor City Government, the community and business actors to create waste management in residential areas and change the behavior of the people of Bogor City in managing their household waste.
In the last two years, we have successfully carried out trials to up scale low value plastic waste and create a circular economy at TPS 3R Mekarwangi and BantarKemang. Optimization of this trial will continue to be carried out so that it can create a wider impact both on the environment and on the economy of the surrounding community.
